TUESDAY, JUNE 11 2019, 10:00 AM and 6:00 PM: PICKLING AND PRESERVING CLASS.

Ivan Niles has been in the hospitality industry for over 30 years, beginning his professional studies at the California Culinary Academy’s Cordon Bleu program. He continued to New York City to hone his skills in modern French cuisine followed by a position with the Tartine Group at Bar Tartine in San Francisco, a James Beard award-winning culinary hot spot. In his free time, Ivan is building his own mushroom cultivation business, Sporganic. If you want to see him really light up, just ask him about mushrooms!  Ivan’s class will feature:
Ginger Pickled Carrots – infused with Honey Ginger Balsamic
Naturally Fermented Beet-Pickled Cauliflower and Fennel 

After the pickling processes are explained, Ivan will put together an appetizer and a salad. You won’t want to miss this!

Classes will be at 10:00 AM and 6:00 PM. To make reservations for this class, please call the store at 209-728-8853. The registration deadline will be Saturday, June 8. The fee for this class will be $40. Bring a friend and get $5 off.
