Dijon Mustard Dried and Fresh Fruit Chutney

  • 8 oz. dried apricots, quartered
  • 4 oz. dried cherries
  • 1-1/2 cups sugar
  • 3 Tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 2 Tablespoons brown mustard seeds
  • 2 Tablespoons Milanese Gremolata Olive Oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne
  • 4 green apples of your choice, peeled, cored, and diced into 1/2-inch cubes
  • 3 bay leaves
  • Kosher salt, to taste


  • Bring all ingredients and 3 cups of water to a boil over medium-high heat. Stirring occasionally, cook for about 40 minutes until the apricots and cherries are plumped, apples are tender, and the liquid is reduced.
  • Cool.
